Pricing for graphic services is extremely hard to put into a price
per project or job price list. My rates are per hour, that is for
every hour I work on the job. Some tasks are less per hour than others. For this reason, I will
attempt to give some examples of what can be expected to pay for
a job or project.
You will need a quote from me and an
acknowledgement of my fees prior to the start of work along a payment
of at least 1/3 the total estimate. Should additional work beyond
the quote amount be required, or desired I will notify you in
writing via email and/or by phone before I continue to provide any
additional charges.
Below is a list of my hourly rates for the different types of
work that I do. Each type of work I perform requires its own skill
set and has it's own assigned rate.
Graphic Design - $85 per hour. This includes for example creating a
graphic design for logos, websites, commercial press related
materials, etc. Included in this category is detailed photography editing,
touch up, graphic rework, editing and customizing.
Desktop Publishing - $65 per hour. This includes for example creating a
brochure, business card designs, a banner for a booth, postcards,
rack cards, etc. I do have a printing house I work with for complete
design services.
Web Site Design - $75 per hour. This includes for example creating a
web site, a blog, website maintenance, etc. If you are in need of
web services, such domain registration, hosting - I can provide
those additional services as well. For site maintenance services I
will invoice you monthly for work performed for the past thirty
days. Minimum charge per month is one half an hour, but unlike some
designers - no work means no pay, I am not on a retainer!
From these listed services, each may or may not be included,
required or necessary when I am working on a project. For example, I
may set up a website but not do the graphics. I may create customer
graphics for a customer but not do the layout work and/or printing.
Examples of commonly requested services and estimated costs:
All hourly work is minimum one hour - the balance rounded to nearest half hour.
All work done will be provided to you for safekeeping. For artwork I will mail you a CD with the most common formats used on the web or for the commercial press.
Logos - Pre-made $75 (Base Price)
Choose from a pre-made logo that will edited to your
specifications for name, text, font and colors. Additional
modifications and edits will be additional and I will quote that to
you before starting the work.
Logos - Custom Logos $150 (Base Price)
Given an idea of what type of logo you wish to have, I will create
one based on your vision and/or idea as communicated to me. Additional work after 90 minutes will be extra.
Large Banners - Simple Design $50 (default size is 468 X 60 pixels).
Small Banner and Buttons - website $30 ($10 for simple
animation)
Default size is 200 pixels by 70 pixels.
Custom Website Button Sets - $25 Standard Set
Up to 10 Buttons (Home, Contact Us/Email, About Us, Back, Forward,
Enter, Delete, FAQ, Links, Products/Work/Catalog)
Basic Site Hosting and Domain $60 Annually
Semi-Custom Blog Setup, Hosting and Domain $250
$80 annually to maintain space and domain.
Basic Photography Touch up & Editing - $70 Hour
Fades, Background Removal, Feathered Edge, Color Fix, Cosmetic Touch
Up, Cropping, Color Adjustments, Formatting.
Website Coding/Design/Misc. Work - $75 Hour

Once we have decided and agreed up on a price and a time line for the work to be completed, I will email you a PayPal invoice. A deposit of 33% is due before work will begin.
Once the invoice is paid I will begin work and notify you when it's complete. In the event of extended or highly labor intensive work, arrangements can be made for additional deposits and payments.
