I love things that move,
airplanes, boats, cars & bikes especially and I'm pretty sure you
do too - right? But lets face it - we all have a need to build many
other things as well. Before we can build the plane, boat, car or bike
we invision we have to come up with a work shop of some kind. For many
of us that usually will be either the garage or the basement or
possibly a detached storage building of some type. In most cases what
ever space we have is already being occupied by all kinds of
"STUFF". That's creates a problem. What to do with the
all that stuff. One solution is to build a storage shed. Now we can clean out
our future shop. Then of course we have to have a work bench, and
assembly table - possibly an engine table also and of course we need
racks for our building materials, storage for usable scraps and many
other things. Might be good to have a vacuum system for all the dust
we are going to make, and while we are at it - how about that air
compressor - gotta have that. Don't forget those other things - you
know, like needing an out door barbeque center to have friends over to
admire the other projects. Then of course everybody needs a place to
sit. Adirondack chairs might do it, and maybe a pick nick table or
too. Don't want to cause any accidents by rubberneckers looking at the
first run of our new airplane's engine in the back yard - so we need a
nice high privacy fence. I could go on and on but the point is we all
have many other things we need or want and many of these projects are
actually quite interesting, fun and satisfying as projects in and of
themselves even when they are in the bigger picture meeting a need (in
some cases) for a larger more complex project. This section covers
